Background
Styoolish is an innovative mobile app designed to revolutionize the shopping experience. By matching users' body sizes with shop models, Styoolish eliminates the confusion often associated with sizing. The app offers tailored outfit suggestions specifically suited to individual body shapes, ensuring a more personalized shopping journey.
As a product team member, I oversee the entire development process of the app, from the initial concept to final design. This involves analyzing user flow and behavior, as well as creating UI and design guidelines for the development team to ensure a seamless user experience.
Challenge
This project involved designing a new user flow that is unique in the market. Due to its rarity, there are limited references available for research and analysis.
The original web tool, a simplified version released early to the market, serves as the foundation for this project. The goal is to integrate its functions into a fully functional app while adding features such as "My Favorites," "Shopping Platform," "Product Listing," "Message Chat," and "Personal Profile."
Solution & Direction
We need to anticipate the various scenarios that users may encounter and create different UI feedback for them at the early stage. Therefore, I begin by designing the app's overall structure to align with user needs and business objectives. This includes defining feature functionalities, user interactions, and necessary data for optimal performance.
Once established, I divide the project into three distinct scopes for focused development and efficient resource allocation. This segmentation streamlines workflows, enhances team collaboration, and facilitates effective testing, ultimately leading to a robust and user-friendly application.
